A twenty year old Leo Cloutier meets Babe Ruth on August 1932 in Boston's Fenway Park. Leo, who had no press credentials at the time, hung over the gate and tried to get the Babe's attention from the dugout. Finally the Babe emerged and said "What seems to be the trouble young man?" Stunned, Leo responded, "They wont let me onto the field to get my first scoop for the Berlin Reporter...no credentials yet..." to that the Babe looked around and said..."Okay kid, no ones watching, This gate, you push and I'll pull and we'll get it open." With that Leo achieved his first big league interview!
